Hello! I have been dreading the day that I make a post because as an almost daily viewer of various forums I know how brutal it can be to make a new post. I have searched for this and tried to get in contact with people editing and making the post I will show. The link is: https://www.zdriver.com/forums/240z-...anifold-19937/ Being that my AFM to TB boot cracked and not wanting to buy the $80 part and have it do it again, I wanted to go the solid silicone tubing route. The person who created the post removed a bunch of different things from the intake manifold including the tube that goes into the AFM to TB boot. I have included pictures and highlighted the air route/tubing so you all know what I am talking about. I was wondering how he blocked it off, is that what the breather filter is on? (He hasn't been online since 2014, so can't ask him) This literally made my car unable to start unless I plugged the hole with my thumb from the vacuum leak. I have it semi-plugged and now my car has a large loss of power. Hopefully, you all will be able to help me and think of how he did this. I am only wondering about this one aspect as obviously he explained everything else. Please be nice

Also, I have read that it is unholy to not introduce yourself/your car on your first post. So, I am Tate. I am chemist by day. I have a 1983 280zx that was set out for the junkyard. It had no floors, no frame rails, interior was destroyed, seats were destroyed, basically it was your typical car that you let sit for 8 years in the Florida sun and rain. I have done a rear tail light panel transplant off of another car along with a fender transplant taking two rusty fenders for the passenger side and combining the good parts and cutting out the bad rusty ones. I have included some recent pictures of my car after the original ones. I am going to get it painted here real soon. The pictures of it when I got it looks 20x nicer and rust free than it actually was. Yes, the tail light panel needs to be sanded flat. Its the extra resin from the carbon fiber in the back.
