83 ZX won't start now.

I just changed the Fuel Pressure Regulator switch and still cranks but nothing. New Injectors, Alt, Starter, Battery, Spark Plug Wires not bad. I changed the plugs and they keep getting black, it's running too rich. Sometimes it starts and stalls. Help!

Double-check some connections. Plug on bottom of air flow meter, plug on right side of engine to head temp sensor.

I'm sure you put a new vaccumme line from the regulator to the intake, right? There's still the slight chance that your brand new regulator is malfunctioning... but probably not.

ALSO CHECK YOU AIR MIXTURE SCEW I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON MY 81 THIS AND A NEW FUEL REGULATOR FIXED THE PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK

The spark plugs were all fouled out before replacing the fule regulator. It runs really rough, low idle. If I unplug the Throttle postion switch it stalls right out, but accellorates much smoother.
