In a 280zx car is there a character in the vin that lets you see if the car is a turbo? here is a vin of one im looking at the ad doesnt say turbo or nothing, but I dont know, it has a turbo hood so im assuming it is. here is a pic also

ALL 82-83 280zx's had that "turbo hood." It doesn't matter if it's a turbo or not. In 81, Nissan intro'd the turbo hood.... it was so popular that they made it standard on ALL 82-83 ZX's.

That car has 82-83 non turbo rims too...

 

It isn't a turbo, otherwise the vin would be JN1CZ04S8CX451258 as opposed to JN1HZ04S8CX451258

 

oh, ok thanks. the turbo im looking at vin's is JN1CZ04S6DX7, so yea I see the C. Thanks again.
