ok well i took everything off my engine on the top...the fuel rail took the injectors out....all the piping
now its all back in all the new connectors for injectors new spark wires cap n rotor...new connectors for air regulator, for thermotime switch and everything else...
i upgraded to bigger TB and a turbo AFM.....
now when i try to start...it turns over but wont start
how long does the fuel take up to fill the rail and evertyhing?
what should i check?
thx in advance

You should have done one thing at a time. My first suspect is your custom rigged turbo AFM project. Do you have a stock AFM to pug into the intake and see if that gets the engine started?

Maybe switching to the turbo housing requires you to mess with the flapper tension? (I would ask someone that did that swapt to be sure thought) I know when I switched to 370cc injectors my Z wouldn't crank over and just flooded till I leaned it out. Also check for any vacuum leaks by the throttle body. My friend had one on his 240sx, some how his gasket wasn't sealing 100%, replaced it and now it's fine.

I remember testing some stuff on my car once and I unplugged the AFM. The car still started and would idle but I couldn't hardly move the throttle at all before it would start to die. Maybe spray some starting fluid in there to get it to fire up a little and maybe once it idles once and is warmed up you'll have an easier time troubleshooting.

The gauges look cool. What kinda bulbs are you using to illuminate the gauges? I have a set of white face ones and I'd like to change the color as well, but I heard that regular blue bulbs aren't bright enough. Are you using LED's?

thx...
theyr just regular blue bulbs....just make sure you clean the old face (if using old faces) real damn good...sand it till its all white colour....back and front...sand sand sand....see the black thing there is the back of gages that i made a mistake of not sanding off..but i think it still looks good cuz when i look at it in the car...it seems only the numbers are lit really good and middle is darker...which is cool with me
