Dude, for an NA, that's actually not a bad result. Remember, the HP rating from the factory is at the crank, not at the wheels. You take a 140 crank hp and it'll be 115 hp once it gets to the wheels.

ok well i did a compression test on it over the weekend. 150 on all except one which got 145 so no biggy there. i managed to find a photo i had previously taken of the throttle bodies. it's taken with my phone so it's not the bast but you will see what i mean.

After seeing that picture, I would almost be willing to bet you are losing at least some hp on the dyno with that throttle body. It does look really restrictive in that pic. Do you have access to a normal throttle body over there with just one bigger butterfly valve like the stock n/a ones we have over here?

probably not. unless i find a l28 out of a non zx such as a patrol or 280c etc. otherwise i can always get one from american ebay

hmmm, I have one on my '82 parts car that I'll never use for anything. I'll have to check it and make sure everything is still there though. I sold the wiring harness back to the guy I bought the car from, hopefully he didn't rape any of the sensors off it when he took the harness. I'll check it tomorrow.
