crank sensor

i need to know where the crank sensor and the timing marker bolt on in an 81 280zxt

Not on the 81...

The CAS on the 81 is on the drivers side of the crank pulley.

alright i got that on and all my other sensor's and vacuum lines on and when i try to start the car its still showing the sensor light. any ideas?

The yellowish orange sensor light? uh oh....


Oh wait... that's just the O2 sensor warning that lights up @ something like 30k miles. Then you take it to Nissan, they reach their lil hand under your dash and unplug a wire.

Don't worry about it... that isn't keeping your car from starting. Or did the car start? (you didn't say it did or didn't).

no it wont start. i tested the injectors and the sensor's that go on there and everythings good. probably vacuum somewere but i dont know. it could possibly be off time also but im pretty certain i have it right.

yea they should be. i put on a new pallnet fuel rail and did a test on the sensor's that plug into the injectors.

you could pull the rail with injectors still attatched and actually LOOK to see if they are spraying.

not as effective imho. not like pulling the rail and cranking it is hard lol

That means nothing if the problem is electrical. And how do you know you have fuel?
