82 turbo running rich; spark plugs fowling out; help?

alright; i've changed the fuel pressure regulator; put on it a new muffler; etc; not an exhaust problem; I got a feeling i might be the oxygen sensor; but I don't know; right now; it won't even start up right; it's loud and just kinda chuckles and dies out; anyone help?

As you mentioned, it could be the O2 sensor or the AFM.

hmm..yes i would be leaning towards the o2 not reading right and screwing up your air to fuel mixture when you need it at the spoolup of the turbo....

hmmm........... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....
I wouldn't think the oxygen sensor would effect the mixture THAT much. I ran my non-turbo for a while without one at all. It ran rich, but ran good. 16-17 mpg vs the normal 21-23.

But replace it anyway.

oh, no I didn't. It was too hard trying to get all those parts installed in the door shell I had. I ended up buying another complete door with the window and hardware already in place. Am I lazy?

is your spark set right?? i know if my gap is beyond.040 in my Mustang,if i try to spray my juice it blows the spark out and i go really really rich, really really fast, lmao. this is also connected to your boost levels. i might be way off topic here but that my .2 cents.

P.S.- yes i do own a zcar as well as my stang. two 79 280zx's actually both 5 speeds(waiting to turbo one of them,lol-need some advice on that subject.)
