Has anyone taken the 280zx turbo automatic transmission and swapped in a 454 with manual transmission? I have a 454 and an automatic trans for it but would love to see if I can find a good manual that mates to the 454 that would work. Hopefully I could find the pedals for it also.

 

That is going to be one heavy chevy! All cast iron or do you have aluminum heads and intake to shed some weight. Many LS swaps out there. Local guy did a LS with Dual turbo in an 78z.

 

I have a free 454 motor sitting around. I'm sure aluminum heads wouldn't be hard to find. Just asking how much trouble it would be to swap it. The transmission i could get a cd009 and use the bell housing adapter to make it manual.
