Dude I can't rev my car completely to redline. I set my Mallory to rev limit at 6000 RPM. So it hits that before it would hit the ECU's fuel cut rev limiter. I'd much rather be running WOT and have it suddenly cut spark then cut fuel and risk me detonating the hell out of my engine. Although I can adjust the ECU's rev limiter or disable it via NIStune.

First off, the 2005 G35 has 280 HP SAE @ 6,200 rpm; 270 ft lb @ 4,800 rpm. This is all at the flywheel, not the wheels. Every G35 I've dyno'd has put no more than about 230 to the wheels and that's the Manual. The auto has even more drivetrain loss, but I've only ever dyno'd Auto's that were either supercharged or twin turbo, so I don't have any exact figures.

Second, it does matter how fast your car is. The guy in the Ferrari 360 who spins his tires off the line in a street race with a Chevy Aveo that let's the Aveo get in front of him for about 10 feet, didn't really loose to the Aveo.

Third, the driver does matter in a "REAL" race. Not some crap on the street that can't be backed up consistently.

Fourth, without seeing any proof of your work, experience or ability to either tune, modify or otherwise upgrade a car's performance and no information about your driving skill other than your claims of being another Jeff Gordon and beating a fat, slow, under powered G35 automatic "up to 75" you're talking out of your azz.

 

You have to rev it in first gear till it hits 8 and then keep revin it for like half an hour or u can jus drive around in first gear for a while...do not change gears ur engine can handle goin up to like 60 in 3rd gear and if u really wanna loosen things up do like 75 and pop it in 2nd gear its an amazing feeling. jeff gordan out.
