Tire sizes

I'm currently running 225/50r15 all the way around on swastica wheels.My z i pretty much stock except for the 3" custom downpipe and exhaust.I was thinking about going to a smaller tire only because i think the 50's are a bit too wide.I think i would have better acceleration going to a smaller tire.Except stock size of course.Would 225/60r 15's be a good choice?

P.s I never updated everyone about the wastegate problem.The wastegate was bent a bit.I found a new one and the car is fine now.

I'll move this from the S30 to the S130 280zx section then.

Also... search for "tire calculator" as this subject comes up often.

I think i'm going to go with the 225/60/15's all the way around.I don't plan on doing any performance upgrades for now.When i do i'm going with a bigger turbo,megasquirt,bigger injectors,intercooler ect.By then i think the 50's would be perfect for the z.

Just wondering why 50's with performance parts, and 60's without? That doesn't really make sense to me...you realize it affects the height not the width.

225=width in mm
50=aspect ratio(height)
15=diameter of wheel
