multiple questions on 81 280zx

1st, my main question.

my car has ALOT of wiggle and shaking crusiing at about 50-60 mph.
the steering wheel moves from side to side violently.
i have a few ideas of what the causes might be...but im not sure.

2nd. my right, rear wheelwell creates alot of clanking/clinking when cruising around at pretty much any speed., however when i apply brakes it will go away. when i let go of brakes it returns to clanking. faster i go the more clanking there is....

3rd. where can i find, and is it worth getting? the strut bars that reach across to each other?...do they help in anyway?...ive seen em in alot of videos. they go from the front struts, going over engine, and also in back...(2bars total.)

4th. tire size, any reccommended size that i should run?...the type of driving i do is just (fastly commuttiing),..that would be best terms to decribe the driving. hahaha

thanks for any help or information you may have...it helps me in many ways.

possible loose brake parts? take your wheel off and look at it first, check and see if anything loose.

To your first question you could try to get your wheel balanced very cheap to get done and can have great results
and also to your first and second questions Take a look at all your suspension bushings and also your front and rear stablizer bar bushings. They tend to make alot sound if old and cracked. I just replaced my bushings in the front today and did wonders, mine had gotten to the point my stabilizer bar was loose causing alot of noise

replace bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints. Get tires balanced. get car aligned. noise from right rear is either your inflation can rolling around or a bad rear wheel bearing. strut brace won't do a darn bit of good without the above except if you think it will make the car look cool
