They are different are'nt they? The +2's would be longer?

Yes they are. just a little more. I am not quite sure on the measurements. But the doors, and the back area on the 2 + 2's are longer. In my opinion don't want to offend anybody. They just look funny to me, but like I said all matter of opinion. "Different strokes for different folks"

Thanks, had this crazy idea of cutting and shutting a +2 to make it into a coupe. All +2's in Oz, no coupes

plus the windshields are the same.
Rear suspension is the same. Driveshafts of course are different lengths.

I should have mailed you the coupe body I just cut up! Its a Left hand drive! how cool is that?!?!

I'm looking at importing a two seat solid top coupe from the US, plenty of RHD stuff here to do a steering conversion. Reading about all the ones in US wrecking yards make me cry, almost

They are indeed quite plentifull in the wrcking yards here. Part of that though is due to the shear numbers of them that were originally sold here between 79 and 83. Over 350,000 in the US alone in 4 years... Amazing. Figure if 1/2 of them are no longer on the streets... that would be 175,000 up for grabs in the wrecking yards.
