ball joints?

anyone know a good place to buy ball joints? at a afordable price i dont want ebay **** and at $30 a peice at autozone seams pretty pricey but if thats my best option i gess i will have to buy them. so any help?

Avoid O.E. Brand ones - they're the wrong shape/size for our control arms, and don't mount flush. In my notes, I have the following part number written down: ISO/TS16949:2002

I replaced them with Moog K9292's. Fit just like the originals.

Yeah autozone gave me the rong ones I returned them and ordered the Moogs at o-Reilly's

moogs are a quality product but no relation to the moog synthesizer

Do you guy know we're to get a center link for a good price the cheapest one I found was 300 Its not broke its just the ball joints on the end are worn

Thanks I should of done that the first time and I gess I asked the rong question . On a center link can you replace the ball joints on the end or do you have to but the whole piece?
If you do have to by the whole peice were could you get it cheap because I can only fine them for $300

Ah, gotcha. No, they can't be replaced by themselves. A much better alternative would be to swap in a rack & pinion.

He's talking about the ball joint connections on the center bar of the 79-81 recirc ball steering setup (click his link & look at the center link bar).

Male... the actual ball joints are the same from 79-83. They bolt to the bottom of the strut / inside the control arm. The other "ball joints" are tie rod ends. So of the $100, what parts do you have?
