Short Shifter.
Short Shifter.
Not sure if this is where this belongs...
A short shifter is essentially... a short shifter.
If i took my stock shifter, sawed about two inches off in the middle, and welded it back together, its a short shifter, correct?
Alot cheaper than buying a brand name short shifter for 150-200 dollars right O.o?
A shorter throw is a shorter throw as far as i'm concerned...

A "true" short throw shifter actually increases the distance between the pivot and lower bushing, which vastly decreases the traveling distance on the top end (where your hand is). The simple science of "levers" and "pivots" is applied here.
Also, search for "short throw" in the 280zx section... LOTS of info.
