Rear windshield glass weather stripping question

Rear windshield glass weather stripping question
A buddy and I just picked up a new '79 280zx and we bought it w/o the windshields installed. We ordered the strips for the front windshield and are going to have a place install it for us.
Now, I know the rear hatch windshield goes in with a rubber weather stripping piece. I found it one for about $100. I also found a listing that said it was a weather stripping for "70-78 Datsun 280ZX 280Z 260Z 240Z" for about $60. Now is it likely that this is a typo, or can you use the weather stripping from the 280z on a 79 280zx?
Thanks for any help.

So apparantly I was using the wrong terminology.
The part I need is the rubber gasket that is used to attach the glass to the hatch, along with the trim. Is it possible to attach it without the gasket, if so how, or do I just need to start search every goddamn junkyard around?

Several are on eBay right now in the $60 range through !978.
Try finding that gasket for a 1981 - 1983: $256 on one site but I have to call them and see if they still have it.
I think but I don't know fur certain that the '81-'83 are longer (for a larger area glass) and I wonder if you could slice/glue an extra peice of gasket on to it?
