Ok, I was also able to take a close look at my interior and I feel most of it is crap. I was looking up new Seat covers, and found that you can buy complete new racing seats that look real nice for about the same cost as getting the old ones recovered. Is this a good Option or not?

Also most of the rest of the interior is even worse for ware. I was just thinking of removing most of the interior from the seats back due to it looking so shaby that no interior would look better. I was thinking of just cutting a new board out and covering it in the back, I could make standoffs to make it sit straight. What does everyone else with these issue do to address them.

If you want racing seats, then it's a good option. Just make sure they will fit on the stock tracks / mounts.

As for the rest of the interior, the sky is the limit. Actually your wallet is the limit. We have lots of info / pics here on our forum of people restoring their car inside & out. There are also MANY tutorials online showing you step by step interior repair and custom coverings.
