so i found a guy whos is selling a 280zxr wing, I haven't seen it yet but he says he painted it and had it on a chevy monza for a while, and from what I read on xenon's page the wing is some kind of molded rubber, my question is has anybody ever tried to remove paint from a zxr wing before? and how did it turn out? i don't know what kind of paint it is either.

 

you can probably use a steam pressure washer to remove the paint or bumper paint remover to remove paint of urethane... but i dont know if the ZX-R wing will actually fit your car.. the wing wasnt never designed for a 2+2. your rear hatch is at a higher angle than the coupe and might make the wing look like its tilted higher than it was designed for....

 

ok, thanks and im not going to put it on my 2+2 im either going to sell it or put it on my other zx which is just a coupe, I just need to figure out how they fastened it to the hatch at the factory

 

I just bought this 280ZX-R wing from a dude, and i was just wondering if anybody knew how they were officially held down and also if they bowed up like in the picture before they were tightened.
