280zxr

so i have a chance to pick up a 280zxr all original... problem lies here. the guy drives it everyday, hes the only owner, knows what he has doesnt want to sell all that much. he told me with a reasonable offer he would. my question is, whats it worth? i never really go by kbb or nada.

There were only 1000 made... about half of them are still on the road. So they are worth A LOT (if the owner knows it is another issue).

Well, that's subjective. It may be worth a lot to the right enthusiast, but it's not worth that much to 99.999% of the rest of the population.

exactly. I've seen a ZXR in Cali listed for $3000. It was in good condition and a driver. I think that was a low price.

I've also seen them for sale for $18,000 but they were a show car that had under 20,000 miles. I doubt the owner ever sold it though.

I'd offer him $3000 if you can and see what he says. Its not so terribly low of a price
