Weird Tach issue.

I noticed that in my Z if it gets to hot inside the car, the tachometer sticks at around 2K or just all together doesn't work at all.

Has anyone else had this issue and has anyone fixed it? I'm not sure where to start on that one.

Have you tried thwacking (flicking) it with your fingers?

S30 tach's are notorious for this.

A new one will work to specs. I have two new OEM tachs, and a few used in working condition.

lol Yes I've tried flicking it to see if it would come back but it never does. Ah well, I already need to tear into the dash to fix the heater core and pedals, just something extra to fix I guess!

Zdon, How much are you looking for them?
