Well heres another random weird question. Since I bought This car it runs fine one day decent power in which I was never truely impressed with. Then theres the bad days where it dont want to rev high and seems bogged down sluggish. Tonight Its was a bad day chugin along with my buddy and we went down our famous Pittsburgh area road 136. I went to pass a truck with Aerosmiths sweet emotion playing and the Datsun scared the living hell out of us. In less than a few seconds the trucks lights turned to dots and it threw us hard in the seats . This was a 5th to 3rd downshift then to 4th and 5th . Being 2200 in 5th due to not haveing a spedo finishing at 5600 in 5th before I could jam the brakes felt like 115-120 May be wrong. Any way the steering seemed to tightened up at faster speeds. LOL Anyway Is this something Ecu or fuel related All new electrical and ignition parts? Love to keep that power.

they all have their good and bad days, usually related to cooler air on some days or such things. For some reason mine feels much quicker on damp/ wet days. (I too lack a speedometer but I have GPSed it in the past and remembered what speeds are at x RPM in x gear. I know 2500 in 4th gear is a solid 45mph, 3000 in 5th is 70mph. There's a few more I know of but these ones are the real important ones.) Is yours a really sluggish, noticeably slower feeling as if it something is obviously wrong? it could be a number of things. Are there specific times/ circumstances when it feels faster or just whenever it feels like it?

Nothing wrong why its weird........guess its the early style fuel injecton? Air mass air temp elevation? LOL just funky how its a different car every time I drive it.
