It may or may not bolt in, but someone here in San Diego had a 280 with 240 bumpers. I can't remember his screename, but he was trying for the longest time to sell a 75 280 on zcar with no luck.

Beer and lots of it. Actually it may not be that hard if you have the right tools. I have a 260 version 2. I had the battering ram bumpers that I removed. I purchased a set of Euro 240 bumpers and brackets. I thought the front would bolt right up. Nope. I had to bend the brackets a bit and drill two holes. Not too bad, but I didn't have a vice.
The back was a bit more work. We had to augment the brackets and add a piece of metal to each. The 240 had two bolt holes in the back that are level. The 260 is at a diagonal. Not sure about the 280. It may not even have rear holes.
