Swapping TT into 2+2.. Tips?

Hey all. Im new to this forum, but ive been around twinturbo.net for a couple years.

Anyways, I had a cold air intake and was stupid and removed the splash guard when I installed it (I did it a couple years ago when I was 16). Anyhow, the other week, it was raining and I drove through a puddle... engine hydro locked... Yay me, right? lol.

Anyhow, I pulled the plugs, then turned it over and got the water to shoot out of the cylinders. The thing now starts, runs, and drives, but has rod knock. Maybe its just a rod bearing... anyways, i decided, financially, and timewise, its a better option to get a TT car that is totalled and swap it into my 2+2... So I found my parts/donor car and it runs, turbos only have 15k miles on it... its a good one...

Before I start the swap, im just trying to gather as much knowledge as I can about any problems I may run into or whatnot... anything you guys can think of about it? Thanks in advance.
