Hello, I just finished the sound deadening on my 73 240z and wow what a difference, these cars are famous for road noise and other raddles and thing like that, I also replaced the weather stripping and door bumpers, It's lots of tedious work but well worth it. I used Fatmat it's easy to work with and less money than Dynamat. Not to mention the stereo sounds great.

Here's a few picks

Hello, It was just under $200.00 I used Fatmat Raddle trap 80 mil on the floor and 50 mil on the rest of the car, it has a foil back that peels off then you just stick it down no glue needed its very pliable. I got it through Amazon. I really works!

Thats awesome. So you you just set it wherever you want it. Im guessing its not specific to our cars, its just sound deadening material for any car?

Has anyone else tried the stuff from Homedepot Useal?? I was thinking of using it instead of the Dynamat or Fatmat. Pix or any input would be great!
And how many sq feet were needed? Im looking at the 50 sqft. @80 mil. Will that be enuf to to do a 1979zx? cargo area, tunnel foot-feet well, and luggage riser and roof-ceiling area?
Sorry for so many questions as this is my 1st time using any of these products.

Never mind I used the USEAL product and it worked AWSOME! I could not tell the difference from Useal and the Fat Mat! And it worked great! pix to follow!
