im going to be looking at a 78 280z in about a week or so but the thing is the guy said that the front driver floorbord need to be replaced cause its all rusted and what not but the underbody just has surface rust on it... so i was thinking since the floorbord is pretty much rusted so would the underbody?
and also is there any other things i should look for when i go see the car?

take a jack with you and put it on each one of the frame supports. if it gives when you start jacking it up walk away and don't look back. if those are good. check the lower ends of the quarter panels and fenders and the rocker panel for cancer. these are the most common places to find cancer. next. pull back the carpet on the floor boards. check the entire panel front to back, top and bottom. if it's rusted up front then it's probably rusted in back. check the inner fenders where the engine and tranny mounts are to make sure they're not eroding. then do your standard engine checks.
