Not enough current to my electric Fuel Pump

I just bought a 73 240z, this thing has been sitting in a garage for over 15 years, one problem I found is I am only getting about 5 amps of power to the electric fuel pump which is not enough to run the pump, Can someone tell me where and what to look for that may be causing this.

Electric fuel pump relay control locations?

Hi I have a 73 240 Z with a electric fuel pump, Can any one tell me where the relays that control power to the pump would be loacated.

Thanks

Sounds like someone installed the electric pump... so it's anyone's guess where it would be. I suggest tracing the wires.

Thanks for the reply, first its 5 volts, also I did some research and this is the factory installed electric fuel pump which is a late 73 model change to the 240 which was also installed in the 260's in 74
