that first one is a ls1 not a sbc, as for that 260z it would definatly go and have a look at it, but i have to agree with these guys on the camaro subject anything from 75-81 is cool, anything before or after is crap, the early 90's camaro's should have never got the lt1, the first gen ls1 camaro's had rod bolt failures from factory, the later ones have piston slap and oil pump failures.. my mothers GTO has 30k miles on it, with everything done at the dealer and on time and it burn half a quart of oil every two weeks, the only nissan in history to do something like that is the 350z, and nissan is quickly fixing the problem.

a few of the vg's had leaking injectors and some of the people where lazy about maintenance on their plug wires and a few caught fire.

isn't it in a way a SBC???
I mean it's a short block V8 made by GM put in chevy's...?

either way, just showing him that his Z28's engine could fit in this engine bay so he doesn't need to worry about space.

the S means small not short and SBC is typically the 350 motor.

haha cool! what are you doing out there? Aspen is pretty far away (5 hours or so) but if I can talk some kids into going on a weekend I'm sure I could work it out! Aspen is usually always worth the drive, especially Snowmass if you are into backcountry/powder skiing
If you're down for killing yourself in a park... go hit up Buttermilk (it's where the X-Games are held if ya didn't know)
