idle issue

ok got the new z tonight and its running wierd already.

When i replaced the #4 injector it has lots of power now. Now the issue is when its at idle the engine "burps" or "Sutters" sort of like a v-8. When I take off the #4 plug to the injector it goes away and idles smoothly. I don't want to run on 5 cylinders.

any ideas to why this is happening, and how to fix it?

haha... ask the guy if he ever put an aftermarket cam in it... its porbably a nill chance but happened to my dad... he tried dickin around with the car for so long cause it sputtered around idle but rev'ed good, turns out previous owner put a cam in it. go figure? but if it drives great and just has a wierd idle could also be like the FPR

It might idle good, but the rpms should drop... so it's not "running better" just smoother. Pull your spark plugs & look @ the tips. See if they are all the same.

Pull the spark plug on that cylinder and see if it's fouled.
EDIT: Actually just change that plug. If the old injector wasn't firing the plug is probably electrically fouled and you won't see it.

Why did you waste your money on Iridiums???? They won't make ANY difference and will most likely not even work as well as the plain old stock NGK's. Using anything other than stock just doesn't work on these motors. Next time, save yor money.

I Would Have Gotten The Cheaper Ones But They Did Not Have Any Instore So I Had To Get The Iridiums... I'll Try To Get Some Video Of It So You Can See What I Mean.

Can It Be A Flat Spot On The Cam That Could Be Causing This Issue?
