I think I'm buying a parts car...

I was at this auto shop today and they have a ratty old 72 240z with a couple of years spider webs on it, so I ask them if they'd sell me some parts if I found any I needed. And he says, "If you can tow that thing away, you can have the whole car for $100..."

Now I'll just have to figure out where to put it...

$100 is totally worth it... unless the body is pure rust & no engine.

Tomorrow (Sat) I'll shoot some pictures of it. I don't know much about it yet. I know its got a few parts I could use. But on the surface it looks like about a 3 on a scale of 1-10... It does have the same "polyurothane" air dam that I have on mine. Guys are always asking where I got it. Other than that, I'm not expecting a whole lot. But you never know!

I'll be towing the car away later this week. I don't recall what condition the taillights are in, but if they're OK, I have no use for them... I'll let you know when I find out later this week.

I mainly wanted 3 interior pieces- center console, fusebox cover and the heater console plastic. Everything else on the car is a bonus. I was happily surprised to see that a good portion of the engine is there, although most of the interior (even the seats) is gone.
