Wink Buying An 83

Hey guys. So I'm buying myself another Z. 83 t top turbo. Only thing it still has canada papers. What do you recommend for me to do. The owner said he's gonna see what he can do so I wouldn't have any problems regestering it. I spoke to someone, he said to just get the bill of sale and his pink slip and go to the dmv and regester it on my name and smog it. Can anyone help? Thank you

Is the car already in the US? If it isn't in the states yet, here is some info

http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/BuySell/...ing_an_nsx.htm

Once it is in the states, I would check with your local DMV on their rules and regulations. Or you can tell us what state you are in and maybe someone here with that knowledge can chime in. But I think a quick call to the DMV will yield an accurate answer you want.

I've imported from the USA to Canada quite a few times. Where is the car located?

California has some really tough smog laws.

Check this link for importing cars into California. Most of it talks about importing from another state but there is a section that mentions Canada.
