or fuel hose. last time i checked, its not a special hose thats going under any special conditions. and ALL the hoses on the old S30's (that were carb'd) had this shitty braided hose used. its complete crap hose also. i would replace all of it.

Go buy fuel hose from AdvanceAutoParts or autozone and quit over analyzing this crap. It is a hose. Period. if you aren't sure, don't use vacume line. just replace it all with Fuel line. beleive me, it can handle contact with gasoline fumes. its kinda what its designed for. and fuel line is one of those dirt *** cheap parts. Theres nothing special about it. It is a hose. it transports your fuel from point A. (fuel tank) to point B. (combustion chamber). Go buy some. i'd send you some of mine, but the shipping would cost more than the hose does. (hint hint)

(you'll have to forgive my dick-ism, but this is getting a little redundant. You sound alot like i did when i first got here. You sound like you is scared of your own car. buddy, they aren't that complicated. espcially not the old ones. )

If you're talkin about the knurled screws it won't idle. Tighten them to stop and back out about 2 1/2 to 3 turns. Start the car and turn one in untill it sarts to die the back out 1/4 turn. Do the same for the other. You might have to adjust the idle speed too.

With a carb synchrometer. Here... let me type "SYNC" into the ZDriver search for you.

As my dad would say: "BOY! ARE YOUR LEGS BROKE OR SOMETHING?!"

Can you not go to your local parts store and buy a friggin Haynes manual?
