oh god... oh god.... ima pop you. its the same size hose as the fuel line, take a piece to the auto store and have them match it, get 5 qts of oil, use until you read oil on the dipstick at the ideal level, theres no real answer to that question, then start the car, re-check the level and add as needed. anything but fram is the best oil filter, honestly though, OEM is the best (as in a nissan oil fliter). youve been here since july of 07 and you just asked like really, questions on such a noob level.... for shame....

no apologies, but u really should try researching it. u said its from the tank right? to the charcoal canister? cause that one is standard fuel line, it has other ports on the canister for vacume though.

fuel line comes in 1/4, 5/16, & 3/8in for most cars, and my Z uses 1 gal of oil... that leaves it at the full mark... and I found that 15w40 diesel oil works great... I've used 10w30, 10w40, 20w50 in reg oil & Mobile 1 15w40, the funny thing was the Mobile 1 was the worst one LOL...

its a vapor tank or what the diagram calls reservoir tank does not hold gas just keeps the fumes

on my external hard drive i have a diagram that has all the hose sizes for 240-260 ill try finding it later

get calipers means go to the store and buy them. it's a measuring tool. to measure diameters and stuff.

Since you've pulled the hoses already, Napa will measure them for you. Hoses are sold by the inside diameter and by the use for which they are intended. Fuel hose is different than heater hose or vacuum hose. The vapor hoses for what you need are braided for extra strength and are bigger around than what is now available. Those calipers won't do you any good because they are in thousandths of an inch. The hoses are metric as in 8mm etc. Unless you know your decimal/metric conversions just take the frappen hoses to the store!

haha a friend of mine got a set of those nice one's with the guage for around $200 and they broke in a week or 2. lol the machinist at the boat yard we were working at tried to fix them (yea right.. i saw this coming) and just demolished them. springs and gears went everywhere lol.

anyway, cheap one's usually have metric too. and they will surely be accurate enouph to measure hose with. for that matter, all you needed was a ruler to answer a third of the original question.
hose wont cost that much. you could probably re-run every fuel line on the car for about $50 (guestimate). and you won't need nearly that much for what it sounds like you are doing. i'm just saying not to spend too much time saving if it could save you some time on getting the car fixed...
