hey! great site, have helped me for years. my z died one day after a car wash, didnt wash the engine, just the outside. distributer dry, the cover was off the mass air flow sensor, could it be it? if so..... also, this has happened before, last time washed it hood down, the car ran terrible for 2 days then went back to normal, mechanic cant figure it out neither can i, maybe the genuises here can.

you need to give a better description ... I wouldn't think it was from a car wash the day before, but what happens exactly, does the car turn over at all, does it run for a while and then die out, sputter then die, does the ignition work at all, a better description, the better chance you have of a good answer
