What Snow said should have helped a lot actually. You wanted to know how to "make it a turbo again." The answer: get all the turbo motor parts and you'll have a turbo motor. So you need a turbo exhaust manifold, turbo oil pan, turbo injectors, turbo ecu (or aftermarket fuel management), etc etc etc...

To answer your next question: you need the appropriate sized turbo for the L28 motor. A dinky Saab turbocharger isn't going to flow enough air... A massive TO7 is going to lag way too long. So find a stocker 280zx turbocharger, or find a mild T3/T4.

if it's got a turbo engine, then most likely the engine itself is not a 78. Now look up turbo engines for the 280ZX, see what size turbos they can use and use that.

200 and 280 is a BIG gap... 200 is more than do able on the stock turbo with supporting mods.... if you only want to run 10-12 psi im sure the stock turbo can push that out just fine.... the intercooler... well i dont know if there are any intercooler kits for these cars but you can always just buy the intercooler and find some one that is good at welding and has a pipe bender and pipes the proper diameter and get custom plumbing setup for probably around 200 dollars... stock the intercooler runs 7psi i think... but if its a real turbo motor it has a POV on the intake mani that i think will pop up and you will loose your boost at 10-12 psi.... so that needs to get plugged or stiffened... im no expert on how to do that... but im sure some one here is. look around on ebay and hybridz.org and classiczcars.com and zcar.com for stock turbo or a t3/t4 setup but they will be more expensive and most likley not neccessary for only 10-12 psi....

the stock motor i know is strong in the block area i dont kow much about the rods and pistons though for how much booost they can handle... but 10-12 psi shouldnt be a problem i would hope.
