pulling my motor

well guys tommorow starting at aprox 8am im going to start pulling my motor. tare it down, replace rings, gaskets, bigger cam, valve train, all kinds of good stuff wish me luck ill post some pics of the progress as i get along

clean and paint the block while you are at it. If you can get the block hot tanked. Best of luck though, its real easy to do if you have the right tools and equipment.

pulling motors on these cars is a cake walk.. do what i did so you know where every plug goes quickly and mark them with masking tape and numbers of different colors so you dont have to go past 10.. or jsut write what they go to if you cant mark the thing they plug to. no big. makes life easy. i didnt get a chance to cleean my motor when out.. but still nothing in it so when i remove the intak and exhaust mani to put turbo parts on imgonna clean it then.

mark them, heck ive done so many times now it in me noggin. if you dont have anything go wrong on you, it should be back in and running by sunday! good luck, and if there is problems, its nice just to be able to post questions here.

well its a little more in detail than that. im havng the cylinder walls honed, crank micro polished doing crank bearings, portng the head and intake mani, i have to fab some block off plates for all the emissions crap i took off.
