new 280z help!

ok so i am about to buy a new z it's a 78 280z. the car has a turbo motor in it but has no turbo the car is running with the 78 efi system and the person that i am getting it from say's it runs great. what would be the best way to get it to be turbo again? please help! i would like to get 280whp to 350whp out of it. what do i need to do to do this? i know very little about turbo set ups.

It has turbo motor... but no turbo.... hum

How do you know it's a turbo motor?

maybe someone tacked on the turbo valve cover, investigate before puschase, or you may get burned on this one, check the manifold, it tells all

the turbo is on the drivers side of the car. the thing that looks like it can be a turbo near the spark plugs is in fact not a TURBO!!!!

The only way you will get even close to that hp is with a built V8. A stock turbo engine has about 180 hp at the crank.
