I pulled mine from a running car. It ran good in that car with only 22,000 on the rebuild. Got my fuel pump and air filter today and its going in tonight. I don`t know if i`ll have time to do the wiring and ecu till this weekend though.

unless you good with soldering (which apparently i wasnt) use wire nuts to join the connections and then completely surround them with electrical tape TIGHTLY! i soldered all mine together and the car would periodically die and not restart with out playing with the wires for a while. then i cut off every connection and used wire nuts and then wrapped them super *** tight so they couldnt get moisture in them. never had a problem since. life lesson learned, i suck at soldering. lol. plus its hard to solder under the dash and such for that on signal and down in certain spots.

Ever hear of water tight butt connectors? Just insert wire, squeeze with wire pliers and heat to water proof.

Those are the best, much better than the wire nuts too IMO

I`ve got no passenger seat. No interior, no steering column, why would I worry about it looking stock? Besides, the butt connectors come in black.

yeah. i dont mind im gonna save this money and get either a bike finally. or sell the 280 also and get a bike and a DSM, or sell the 280 and use all the money for a Z32TT and then put the rest away for a rainy day. that or for school.

all bad options. let me put it together for you: bike+z32tt-dsm= good shat
or better yet, instead of a tt, a yellow N/A with racing seats and new heads and fuel injectors!

Snw don't sell the 280 to get a DSM!!! That would be like breaking up with Jessica Alba so you could date Rosie O'Donnell...

Anybody know if paypal charges money to just transfer money through accounts? I want to give Snw a 1k deposit, but I don't want him to end up having to pay some sort of tax to do that or pay extra. Any ideas?

pretty sure on the tax, plus they only allow you to remove 500 a month i believe.

oh i forgot about the foul weather factor. that may be the only excuse for possibly getting a DSM. but you won't be satisfied!

loo. ill be satisfied, just cause ill be with my friends alot. i wont be as satisfied as i am with a Z32 TT. but man, a tubular manifold, 750CC injectors, FMIC, 2G maf swap, 20G turbo, up the boost to 24psi, hit up the DSM link and tune. man its sick hitting that stutter box, launch it and light up a patch in AWD for 40 feet. still, id MUCH rather have a Z32TT and that is my first plan, but who knows what could happen.

sounds good. yeah i didnt have much wiring experience other than radios and stuff in my cars. this was my first ECU wire up and i did it right the first time. so im sure you can do it to. what i did was study that write-up, and also a few diagrams, and sat down with my harness. i then took a sharpie and a piece of paper, and drew out my own diagram color coordinated based on my cars's harness and my specific ECU harness. then went to town and hoped for the best. best decision ever. i suggest doing the same.
