question about swapping to a 5 speed tranny

question about swapping to a 5 speed tranny
I have a stock 73 240z. I know the 5 speed transmissions bolt right up but can I use my stock driveshaft and clutch from the 4 speed? If not what modifications must I do to get it to work? thanks

the 4 and 5 speeds are the same lenth.

I just did this swap on my '70. The trans was from a '79. I also did a R200 swap so I needed the drive shaft from the '79 since the R200 set up sits back farther. A '73 has the diff moved back already so you will use you original drive shaft.
