I thought pallnet made them before. Is his website still around? I too, would like to get a spacer for my future turbo project. I have a 240sx 60mm throttle body. Try seeing if he still has them available. And let us know.

Edit: http://www.freewebs.com/pallnet/index.htm Looks like his website is not running right now. Maybe try to contact him via email, and see if he has them available.

Lol nice try, but yeah he had a major machine malfunction so I don't think he is taking orders until he is done playing catchup on all the backorders... Grrrrr...

If anyone is interested though that is going megasquirt and wants to use DSM injectors I have the pallnet fuel rail for that, and would sell it for 100 bucks, or preferably trade it for the barb type for OEM injectors

WOOOO!!! also, there is a better clear coat on the body now, so I'll probably update tonight with some better pics, so stay tuned. And I have primer so the rest of the parts should be sprayed shortly, and my ARP rod bolts ARP head studs and MLS kameari HG should be here by sat at the latest I hope, so new timing chain and tensioner and I'll plug the motor back together so I can finally start mocking up the turbo setup for realsies

Oh man... I wish there was an L6 MLS or copper manifold gasket! There is no other option besides the damn cheap stock one that always burns through. If someone had access to CNC machine, or water cutting, it would be super easy to mass produce one though...

Got all my stuff in, buttoned up the engine, other than the manifolds. Pulled the original harness, and got the dash in.

Also the car fell off the jackstands today, HAHAHA. Me and my dad were working on it together, and he was leaning on it way way to hard I guess and the jack stands just dominoed over, luckily we were keeping tires under her, So she landed softly on them, not a single hint of damage, and it didn't crush my legs!!! yaaaayyy!!! Hurray for not being in the ER today lol. Anyways, here's some pics

Very nice snow. But do me a favor and ditch that worthless Fram filter. lol Those are the worst oil filters in the world. The only thing they are good for, is the break in, the first 500 miles or so. After that, don't look back. lol

lol that's why I took pics hahaha. brand new ARP head studs and new kameari 1.6mm MLS HG for 350 shipped. SCHWING!

And Fram is ****, but it was what was on the engine and is keeping the filter tube clean and debris free. Once in the car and ready for oil it will get a napa gold filter, aka wix

So I mocked everything up today with the turbo clocked facing down when I reliezed, there is no way I will clear the motor mounts... So the only way to clock the turbo was similar to the stock fashion, however in that position my turbo compressor hits the manifold... so I grabed the grinder. I noticed there was a hole in the manifold for mounting the heat shield, so I decided that would be used as my depth guage. I took off about a 1/4 inch of material. and this is what I came up with... It was the only way, but this manifold is thick and there is still almost a 1/4 inch of depth in that hole for mounting the heat shield, so by basic logic, I should have plenty of depth in the casting to not worry about cracking.

I have no idea how people fit GT35's on these manifolds....

oh yeah btw... think I can clear a stock rad fan with 2.5inch intercooler piping? i plan to go with an electric fan soon.... but just don't feel like it at the very moment. haha. I should just look at the clearance on the other S30... UGH. I really really hate fabricating **** without having a full shop at my disposal... I could really go for a GOOD welder, a band saw... a mandrel bender and plasma cutter. grrrrr.....

Yep, that would only run 6 or 7k. great progress keep it up. You may have looked into this but they make a spacer to go between the turbo and the manni.

I know about those fellas, but the flange on my turbo is already massively thick, So once I fully tighten down the nuts, the stud end is flush with the top of the nuts. No room for spacers. And I'd change the studs but they are fozen as hell in the manifold. I doubt they would come out and instead just snap and cause many more headaches...

hey snw nice work, i got 2 of those head gaskets. lol, im using the 2mm and i have a 1mm. i can change back and forth depending on head setup. i agree about the mls intake gasket, i happen to know many people with water jets, i just wouldnt want to use the felpro gasket as a template, i dont quite like the way it fits. not perfect enough. as for the cam, i thought it was an A grind, but cant remeber all the effort i put in about it. i know i sold duowing an A grind tho. A seems to be the way to go on hybridz, but you could compare stock specs, im sure there is a chart somewhere

Thanks shady, even though I got a really good deal on this Kameari HG they are just sooooo fawkin expensive, hard to find them for any price better than 350 bucks... Which is RIDICULOUS. So this thing better last for the next 15 years haha.

I decided not to bother swapping in an NA cam cause all of mine seemed to have been getting tarnish on the lobes, so I said eff it I'll just upgrade the cam with a real one when the time comes.

The felpro one I have fits great! Every last hole was centered on it. So idk what you don't like about yours.

We are wrapping up some interior stuff, then hopefully sticking the engine and trans in. I will also be picking up my intercooler soon and ordering 1.5inch pipe a foot of straight and a 180* mandrel bend and flanges for my wastegate. And intercooler piping. I think I'm just gonna grap an EBAY universal kit.

I also think I need an electric fan. Anyone got anysuggestions on one that comes with a thermo switch that fits into one of the slots on our water housings? I was just going to try to plumb the IC piping behind the stock fan for temporary, but I just don't think I can fit 2.5inch piping between there. BLAAAAHHH I hate knowing I still have to spend another 200 bucks... luckily I already sold some of my parts and got 160 bucks haha.
