:-) It was truly a sight to behold. It took me about 5 minutes, maybe less, to get the hubs off of it, but even in that short time a bunch of people stopped to examine the car in disbelief. Too bad about the other 240. My brother in Seattle wants a pair of hubs for the vented conversion on his '78. I was going to get them for him and just ship 'em. Oh well.

Sunday's looking out of the question, but we'll see about Saturday. Kind of depends on what happens with work. It's been kinda busy at my job (which is fine, I actually like it). My wife's been stuck working weekends since about October. So not a lot of spare time lately. If it stays sunny and nice I may have to go out for a bike ride. Too much time sitting on the couch watching the olympics...

Say, I don't suppose Jim was the guy who was living on Moorehead, was he? There was a guy there with a revolving stable of late 300 ZX's (some TT, some NA), and a couple of people with nice looking S30's would stop by to visit him occasionally. Somebody else on that street works on a lot of Mitsu 3000 GT's (there's a man with a lot of patience). Just wondering. What brake upgrade did he end up doing? 4-piston solid, or the full vented route?

Anyway, I'll try to call as the schedule gets more solid. Maybe I'll have the wheels back on temporarily, you could actually get a look at the car, such as it is.

Jim did the 300zx rotor/280zx caliper upgrade.

Jim lives on 55th just north of baseline road.

Not sure who would be on Moorehead. I don't know where that street is.

These cars look familiar?

I would love to have that nice... new look that would last a while...

But I have determined that nothing will hold up to the abuse stickies and track duty will throw at coatings...

I am going the cheap route... truck bed liner....

I have had great luck with this stuff.... It really takes a beating... and it covers flaws caused by rust pitting and scrapes... I even applied it with a brush to the fender lips... keep in mind that the wheel wells in my car look as if they have been freshly sand blasted every time I bring it home from an event...
