Differential hitting

Well I broke the rear diff mount. The choices are get a new one and break it or get a solid mount and turn my car into a vibrator. Solution, a differential "snubber". I cut two pieces of 1x1 angleiron 3 inches long. I had to trimm 1/8 off one edge. I spaced them about 1/8 from the inner edge and welded them to the outer piece. This allows dampening of the diff and limits the movement under hard use.
I am celebrating two years with Zdriver and I appreciate everyones help.
Thanks, Tom

Nice design, should work pretty well, but will also make a bad sound when it hits the snubber. It should hold though. I was going to weld my rubber mount solid, but changed my mind and just got a new one for now.

I took it out today and I am very pleased with it. There is an almost unnoticable thunk on hard shifts but the SuperTrapp drowns it out. Also seems like the torgue is getting to the wheels a lot better than stock. Still very smooth under easy driving.
