New problem lol

So I got my car running yesterday again got my alternator retired an belts put on again an i still can't get good tension in my belt for the alternator the one tensioner piece on my car is stuck is there any other way to get tension in it or where can I get the part cus it's driven me nuts

Can't figure out how you got the new belt on without sliding the one adjustable bolt in its slot to the 'loose' position. I think you have to 'unstick' the bolt - if that's the part that you mean is stuck. Have you tried penetrating oil - then heating it? If you loosen/remove the other bolt, you may be able to rock the alt on the stuck bolt. Also, your alt is a lot easier to work on from underneath - if you can get the car to a lift.

there is one bolt to loosen you have to access from the back. long extension and 12 m/m socket I think. the other two you get from the front. one may be hidden by the cooling water downcomer hose in the front of the engine. helps to tell us if your car is auto or stick, n/a or turbo. they are different turbo alt on the left.
