doesn't need to be 85, pretty sure the 84 and 86 are the same and might be all z31 the same. check part numbers with the dealer for those years.

the ones from Nissan are like 500 bucks. I was hoping someone on here would have one that they were parting out and still had the power supply.

I actually have 3 power supplies. One is from a 1984 and the other 2 from a 1987. What is the part# from your power supply?
The 1984 and 1985 should be the same but I think in 1987 the dash changed and not sure if the power supply changed also.

Is it the 01P11 for my 1985 year?
Mine was not giving me the lower avg fuel usage and tripometer functions.
Have you tested that all functions are working?
How do we arrange payment, delivery, etc.? I'm a newbie.

Have you tried re-soldering the connections inside the power unit? Also try wiggling the harness connectors when plugged into the power unit to see if that makes the dash work properly. If not I do have a working power unit.

Yesterday, I tried re-soldering for the second time and wiggled anything that makes a connection. There was some green oxidation on a couple of the molex pins which I also cleaned. Still nothing. I think I'm ready for a known working unit, if still available.

I dont think theres much difference actually. Thats what my old power supply was the PO put the 01p01in it. So how much would you want for it

This one does work but has not had the solder fix done to it. I plugged it in my car and dash worked correctly except for trip odometer. I jiggled the harness connector on unit and dash then worked 100% perfectly. Would sell for $55 including shipping within U.S.
