Explain to me why a turbo from a manual would have more abuse....

How much shaft play is there, and what shape are the impeller blades?
I just need the turbo itself, what mileage was on the car it came from?

Sent you a email about your hood by the way, but recieved no response.

That really doesn't make sense.... not due to a manual tranny anyway. Overboosting isn't caused by a manual transmission... it's caused by a malfunction with the wastegate or emergency release valve. The L28ET's hp peaks at about 5200rpm... The only difference between the two, would be that the auto doesn't require a BOV, so the would be less times that the Jpipe gets a surge.... but the stock 280zxt only runs about 6psi boost.

I've said this before, and I'm sure it's not the last time: A worn out turbo is 99% of the time caused by lack of proper lube.... Turbo timers were invented to allow the turbo to cool & slow down after a hard run. If you shut the car off right after a hard boost, the turbo is still spinning very fast & the oil is drained & not replenished.... That is the main reason turbo's fail & get worn out. Yes... "Overboosting" can damage the turbo, but the engine rpms will max out far before the turbo. Remember... there are people running 20 - 30psi boost... and if properly taken care of, won't have probs.

Ok, it is a deal on the turbo. My zip is 98168. You should have my email address to let me know how you would like the payment. Pictures of the turbo and hood would be great also.
Thanks....
