I know its still a little bit away. But Id like to see what every one is up to??

Here are my two choices...

1. Stay In Vegas?

2. Goto the first ever, Orange County Ball Drop.
They are trying to make it the biggest one on the west coast.

I could use some help choosing...

Where is the OC ball drop going to be?

I was supposed to be in Australia for new years, but that fell through so I have no plans. I will probably just stay home.

Its going to be at the Orange County Fair & Exposition Center in Costa Mesa.

acts scheduled to perform include: Sugar Ray, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, The Violent Femmes, The Psychedelic Furs, Berlin, The English Beat, Bow Wow Wow, Reel Big Fish, Lit, The Raveonettes, The Colour, WaxApples, Charles Feelgood, Grant Plant, Jason Blakemore, DJ Jasen and Speaker Junkies.

Event Description:
This New Years will be a night to remember for Southern California residents as the Orange County Fairgrounds will be transformed into the west coast version of Time’s Square. With its easy and accessible location in Orange County, parking accommodations, and plenty of indoor and outdoor space, the Orange County Fairgrounds was seen as a great fit to host the OCNYE. The Fairgrounds will host four large indoor live music/dance stages, one massive outdoor stage, a wide array of exhibits and off-beat entertainment, 7 themed entertainment environments, and of course, the Orange Ball Drop to ring in the New Year.

Well I have seen Reel Big Fish before, but never Violent Femmes. I just don't know if I want to fight a huge crowd on new years. I think I would rather just get drunk at someone's house.

Well you can always go VIP style and get a skybox.... that gives you a pass to watch from a private patio. lol then you dont have to be down in the crowds

But then I would spend my new years crying into my champagne because I spent all of my money on a sky box.

The only real reason I would be going would be to see the bands.

I'll probably be posted at Flamingo and the Blvd. or the "heart of the beast" as we like to call it.
