Some photos of my Z at Laguna Seca!

Here are a few of my favorite out of a series of 21 shots taken by Carlos Oliveros. They were taken during the Speed Ventures HPDE at Laguna Seca Raceway March 21st...enjoy.

Nice Mike.
How did you like the track?

Yowsa! I didn't realize how varied in elevation the track really is.... that 2nd pic makes it look like you could lose control real quick over that drop.

The track is a lot of fun. On the day I went, it was on and off raining so it wasn't as good as it could have been, but I will be back one day with good weather hopefully.

Sam - There are 20 something, but a lot of them are from the same spots. I picked one or two of my favorites from each spot to post.

It is really fun. To tell you the truth though, I would still rather be at Buttonwillow or the 3.1 mile SMMR.

Yeah, but the only reason it was scary was because my first session out was in the rain, and thats when I realized that Michelin Pilot Sport Cups are next to useless in the wet .

Actually I didn't. The limit that day was 92db and I was 92.6db and got black flagged. They just told me to lift off the throttle as I went by the microphone.

oh isnt that cute! you and the rx7s have to lift early so the exhaust/ bov noises dont get you black flagged! kinda sucks with it being an uphill towards the corkscrew too.

I would say that at least 60% of the car that day were too loud. And the sound booth is before you go up the hill, between 5 and 6.
