Searching for new car....again.

Well I am at it again. I have grown out of the IS300 and the monthly payments are WAY too high. Anyways, I am looking for something in an automatic, looks good with some aftermarket wheels, has some class to it, and has at lease 250hp. Or a deisel pickup would work too. Something preferably 2003 or newer, but will go to 2001 depending on car. Price needs to be less than $25,000.00 so I can save some money on my car payments. Here is my hitlist...

Infiniti G35 Coupe
Audi A4
Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel

The Maybe cars...
Nissan 350Z again
Chrysler 300C but only if it has a Hemi
Ford F-250 Diesel

Any other ideas???

G coupe. Turn to the dark side.

Plus most of your unused aftermarket parts will fit.

My next car will focus more toward the finer things in life. Some nice wheels and stereo system will be all I do to this car. I want it to be quiet and comfortable. Heated seats, NAV, an interior, etc... I am scared if I get a G35 that it will end up at VRT before I get my first oil change lol.

My choice out of what you listed would definately be the Audi A4 or if you can find one at the right price... S4. i love the Audi lineup

or the trucks are good too... but its just as easy to dump money in a turbo deisel truck. its relatively easy to make 500whp/600wtq in them... plus you can lift them with big wheels and tires.... I had a truck about 3 years ago and dumped alot of money into it.

Yeah I know. Thats what I am scared of. Besides, I would just want the truck for towing and I have access to my dad's F-150 for that almost anytime I need it. I am strongly leaning towards the G35. Just gotta find one for the right price, and find a buyer for my IS300.

Cadillac Convertible - luxury with a vette engine

my next car will probably be German - always admired their engineering and how they get the most performance out of their hp.

Rob, if you can find a Cadillac XLR between $20 - $25k with a clean title I will forever be your hero.

It depends on which German car. If you're talking about Opel, then you can forget about the engineering and performance (of course, Opel is GM's German division).

I'll look for a used BMW when I'm there. They're generally more maintenace free and have less electrical problems compared to Mercedes.

Yeah, if you can get Mike one for that price, I'll take a bite at it too!

I think we're all scared that if you do get a G35C, it would end up at VRT the
next day.

How about the M45? A neighbor here has one and it's really nice. Or the FX45? That's a nice looking ride too.

Nah, the M45 is nice, but not sporty enough, and the FX45 is useless. Its an SUV that can't go off road? I would break that way too quickly

Ah, you want sporty? How about that new IS350? The new Subaru Legacy is pretty sweet too, but I don't think you'll like that. Or how about the Range Rover Sport? If I had the money, I'd get that (or the Range Rover). Those last too are pretty pricey though.

All of those are too pricey. There aren't really any used IS350s yet, and I don't like the Legacys. And IMO the Range Rover sport is the biggest waste of money.

The sad thing is, I will be saving money by swithing to this from the IS When my dad bought the IS for my sister he was really upside down in her Mustang, so basically he is paying way too much for that car.
