Pics from SNORE Off Road Race - Jean, NV - March 31st
I took a quick trip down to Jean, NV to watch two of my uncles and two of my cousins race their buggy toady. It was pretty fun, but only if you have a serious pit setup. The cars leave and the fastest car came back an hour and 45 min. later. In between its all about BBQs and Pacifico
. My uncles were running a class 16 buggy and my cousins were co driving. There are five 89 miles laps in the race and they do a pit stop every lap with driver & navigator changes, repairs, and everything else. Anyways, on to the pics...
My uncle's buggy...

Class 1 buggy at the start (LS2 Powered)...

The little jump at the end of pit lane...

Random class 8 truck...

I went to go get something out of my car later on in the day and though to myslef, damn my car got dusty...

Then I realized that where I parked was about 20' from part of the course...

The pit stops are pretty cool though. Plus, I had to be there at 8am and couldn't stay all day because I had a wedding to go to.
