Quote: Hey Scott,
Just curious...What kind of prices would I be looking at for Cams install? I'd be willing to help out with labor. And how long would it take (on avg.)?

I already had this conversation with him. Basically, if you plan on EVER building the motor, it's better to just wait and do it all at once. Mild head work and cams install is about 2/3 the price of building the whole motor. I'll let him give you the specific numbers. This is why I'm doing mine all at once.

ALMOST DONE!

Just have to pay someone to do the clutch (or find a lift I can use) and install/tune the UTEC. I'll probably do the UTEC tomorrow. Looks like a one hour job. Sounds much better.

Glad to hear you got all the stuff done. I was gonna call ya about the help, but decided it was a nice day to paint some stuff in the engine bay

Hey Blaine, you gonna roll out to the car show on the 28th?

That's OK. I didn't finish until 6PM. Actually, I guess technically, I'm still not finished. My steering wheel is off about 2 degrees. Gotta get back under and readjust the steering shaft.

Now I need to install the pipe, filter and jet kit on the bike. That should only take a day though.

Much better. Need to get it tuned though.

New pics with my new parts... Koyo Rad, Nismo T-stat, Samco hoses, UR Pulleys, DC headers and Ultimate Racing cats. Parts already on... Borla exhaust, AEM intake, homemade catch can, Delsa Motorsports CF fluid covers, engine cover, radiator air diverter and APS plenum and STB powdercoated to match the AEM:

Next is the UTEC, then the clutch and flywheel.

Then I'll need some tires and another trip to the track.

Is that hard to do? Can you maybe give me a hand with the same?

I installed a Momo wheel, but nomatter how many times I have tried to adjust the hub's gears to be straight, it is just a bit off....

Its pretty easy to resolve. Take your underpan off and right by your drivers side exhaust manifold is the steering knuckle. mark the placement on both the knuckle and shaft(sharpie), remove knuckle, replace knuckle with the marks slightly off (in the direction you need to go) and viola, you're adjusted.
