Finally got my Z back!

Just wanted to share with everyone that my Z has been in San Diego for the past 8 weeks. I just got it back Saturday night. I dropped it off back in May with VRT to have (JWT) Twin Turbos installed along with a new oil cooler, radiator and swap my Brembos with AP Racing brakes. I am so happy with the results. Here are a few new pictures:

Is 6.5psi what you will normally be running? How high would you go?

That looks awesome Scott! Eight weeks, no wonder you haven't been around.

Initially started with low boost and once it gets broken & take it back for any sort of PM work I expect to raise it up a little. Of course I don't want to go too high seeing it's the original stock motor and not a non-built one.

As for the length of time it was out... well several things came into play. Originally it was suppose to take 4-5 weeks however there were some delays. The one I caused was getting my 3.5 stock gears back in the Z because I originally put in 3.9FD thinking I was going to keep the car NA. The main delay that took over 2 weeks was getting it tuned and running 100% after the install. I have the "rev-up" motor which is something VRT & JWT has never worked on before. There were some minor stalling issues when it ran in low rpms (2k-3k). Fortunately they were able to figure out the issues and get it corrected. The car at one point spent 10 days straight on Jim Wolf's dyno.

Overall the car runs great. Looking forward on the next meet.

Glad to see they got it running well on the Rev-up motor. That's the kit I want on my '06.

I got to follow your car all the way from San Diego to Vegas and after looking at it that long, it is one of my favorite VRT cars yet. Yours, mine (of course), and Bob's (red one). I love the SF Challenges and APs.
