Hey guys, here is the situation, please provide any advise before I have to go the dealership route.
Between 3500 and 4000 rpms when I step on the gas on a little bit I get this annoying squeek or whistle that lasts all the way to 4000 rpms then goes away. I say only when you push on the gas a little because if you go half way on the gas or to the floor with it the noise is not there. But, within that rpm range 3500 to 4000 that whistle is there on every gear. its driving me crazy. I recently added the NISMO cold air intake and the noise is even worse. I am thinking maybe a leak in one of the vacuum hoses, but if any of you have heard of this problem before and can help out I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

 

sounds like your belts are off but thats just me because i seemed to have that same problem. in most cases i heard i crayola crayon can take care of that squeak
